This is a contract position, hours per week are negotiable.

The Content Marketing Specialist will bring Inman’s voice to life across key channels by producing high quality copy that drives event, subscription and advertiser revenue. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, skilled writer with an eye for detail who can accurately project the brand’s tone and voice, while bringing in conversions.
At least 5 years experience in a B2C or B2B marketing role
Specific experience in media, subscriptions, product marketing, and/or event marketing a plus
Outstanding writing skills and strong attention to detail
Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to fully own and drive projects forward in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
Ability to write for SEO
Understanding of nuances across various social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
Enthusiasm for fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Produce high quality copy for a variety of formats to drive event, subscription, and advertiser revenue
Understand and accurately project the brand tone and voice
Create copy that resonates with a variety of audience segments
Help convert prospects to paying customers through effective subject lines, CTAs, and targeted copy
Drive the content for landing pages, event websites, and social media campaigns
Collaborate with the design, editorial, and programming teams to inform compelling copy for event promotions
Analyze content performance metrics to inform our content strategy
Create and update sales collateral
Update contract templates
Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends
