Channel Impact is seeking a Partner Communications Content Manager to join our winning team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing partner facing content and assets. The ideal candidate has excellent technical writing skills and has worked with or for for a large technology vendor, Distributor or Partner

This is full-time W2 remote position with Channel Impact for someone located on the East Coast. This role requires being available M-F 8am-noon ET, so that you can collaborate with Europe.

Experience

  • BA/BS degree in English, Journalism or equivalent working experience (e.g. Free lance journalist, g)

  • Past experience producing digital content (ebooks, blogs, FAQs, Success Stories....)

  • Natural story teller

  • 3+ years of product, solution marketing or PR with strong messaging and writing skills

  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates versatility, creative thinking and results

  • Basic Power Point skills (required)

  • Abobe skils (plus)

  • 1+ years of partner marketing experience (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Managing 4-5 projects each quarter that are focused on delivering marketing content to/for/with our clients' partners

    • Developing e-Books

    • Interviewing partners and/or customers of partners to develop case studies. You will be responsible for copywriting and managing the approval process

    • Executing on web/online audit gaps with the client’s top 5 partners, and work with the partner to fill those gaps

    • Facilitating the partner social media strategy for 4-5 key partners - joint blogs, postings, social usage, social adoption/enablement

    • Building out the “partner business proposition” for the client

    • “Partnerizing” content that was written for internal use

  • Collaborating with product team, content managers, AR/PR and digital marketing to have visibility in to all major initiatives and advocate for the partner component

  • Developing partner-centric messaging that integrates into the above existing activities

  • Initiating and completing net new “to” and “through” partner content, including pitch decks, case studies, sales sheets, videos, eBooks and more

  • Staying in lockstep with client’s Content and integrated Marketing teams to maximize and leverage as much content as possible for the partner audience

  • Leading the strategy and development of partner campaign-in-a-box toolkits

  • Maintaining an on-going dialog with the channel sales team, keeping track of partner proposition adoption and performance

  • Creating and maintaining partner content for the overall digital journey from our website, partner portal(s) and partner websites/microsites

  • Spearheading content design and development or customization that fosters thought leadership in the channel sector, resulting in higher brand awareness and interest in becoming a partner

  • Managing an editorial calendar, in conjunction with the digital team - champion and leveraging content also written by channel partners (e.g., ghost written blogs, video testimonials)

  • Ability to tell the whole solution story to and with our reseller partners including other ISV or consulting services they offer
