As the Social Media Content Manager you’ll be directly involved in all social media channels and be responsible for its content and growth. We are seeking someone with strong knowledge of all social media platforms and have experiences developing and executing great content. This role will be asked to own the content development process, develop a content schedule, and report on social media KPIs.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, can work independently, and a great communicator.

Employment: Full Time (40 hours p/week) with benefits. Eligible for Company share option package after 3 months. Remote. US-based.

Start Date: Between Sept 1st – Sept 15th

Experience

  • BS/BA degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications or a related field and/or equivalent experience

  • Must have experience in creating and generating own content

  • Experience in e-commerce environment beneficial

  • Knowledge of, or strong interest in design a strong plus

  • Deep understanding and experience of all social media platforms

  • Good understanding of front-end metrics across social media platforms

  • Experience navigating social media platform dashboards and tools

  • Understanding of A/B testing concepts to increase engagement

  • Experience working both independently and with internal teams to develop original content ability to act autonomously and self-manage

  • Comfortable with fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and changing priorities

  • Examples of successful social media campaigns a big plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Increase followers and engagement on all social media channels. Grow site-traffic and drive DM Shop sales revenue.

  • Manage content posts for all DM social channels, according to post schedule

  • Support social media campaigns to bring in new prospective customers as well as re-engage our current customer base

  • Daily pinning of editorial content imagery to Pinterest; work with the Marketing team to maximize content exposure.

  • Social ad management to grow site traffic and drive sales for DM shop: manage and report on success of all social ad programs.

  • Measure and analyze community success: Track social media KPIs, performance analytics and data reporting

  • Social media community management: Includes interacting with followers who interact with our posts, also use social as a way to interact with brands and other media outlets.
